How Do I Become A Member of the BGBB
 
I frequently get requests from people who visit our website asking, "How do I become a member of the BGBB?" Well, to be honest, this tells me they haven't read the website because the information is already here on another page. However, for those who might not be able to find it, I decided to put up a page dedicated to that specific purpose. Becoming a member of the BGBB is a multi-step process. We don't accept everyone and don't sell our patches. Here's the only way to become a member:
  • Go to the BGBB Forum and make your introductory post, in the proper folder.
  • Hang around reading, responding, and starting your own threads so the Brothers can get to know you.
  • After you've been posting on the forum for a few months and we've gotten to know you, you may ask a full member to sponsor you for membership.
  • If a member sponsors you a vote will be taken. The vote must be a 75% 'yes' vote for you to become a member (so post and hang around until you feel ready).
  • There are no guarantees that you will be brought up for a vote for membership. Please understand that sometimes a person just isn't a good fit. We will still continue to welcome your participation.
